Head Coach

Walter Wang

Hi, I’m Walter Wang. I’ve spent over 30 years playing and coaching basketball, and I’m passionate about teaching the game. My focus is on fundamentals, teamwork, and mental toughness—on and off the court. I’ve coached boys and girls at multiple levels, including head coach for All Net and AAU teams for 7 years, head coach for Bret Harte Middle School girls, and assistant coach for Branham High School girls. I've also served as a board member at Almaden Youth Basketball for 3 years. I believe in giving back, and I encourage my players to mentor younger kids and pass on those lessons. Whether you're new to the game or aiming higher, I’m here to help you grow.

Jeff Chen

Hello, I am Jeff Chen. I was the former organizer of the SJCS Fans Youth Basketball Program in the Almaden neighborhood. I've always been passionate about inspiring young athletes to enjoy the game but also encouraging parents and advanced players to engage in coaching & volunteering. I especially love supporting recreational players in building fundamental skills while helping families find ways to better support their children. I hope I can make basketball a fun and rewarding experience for you all.

Alvin Wang

Hi, I'm Alvin, a junior at Leland High School. I started playing basketball when I was in 3rd grade. I played on the Bret Harte Middle School team in 7th & 8th grade, Leland JV team in 9th and 10th grade, and the Leland Varsity team in 11th. I've also played in competitive clubs like NJB All Net, NJB All-Star, SV Stars, BA Tarheels, and Almaden Youth Basketball. I've been part of ACB for a long time and have been coaching for 4 years. I'm looking forward to sharing some skills with you all and having a great time.

Ivan Le

Hi, my name is Ivan. I am a junior at Leland High School. I've been playing basketball for 10 years now and have coached with ACB for two. I started my journey with NJB when I was a child and joined countless clubs like NJB, DBA, and AYB. Now, I play for the Leland Varsity basketball team. I am excited to work with new and returning basketball players to help them become better.

Aamir Lokhandwala

Hey, I'm Aamir, a junior at Leland High School. I've been playing basketball since elementary school, and I’ve competed in NJB for a few years. In NJB, I won the 3-point contest and even set a record. I also played on the Bret Harte 8th-grade team. I joined the ACB coaching staff two years ago and I'm looking forward to the next camp and working with you all.

Hi, I'm Brandon. I am a junior at Leland High School and have participated in NJB for many years. I have played basketball since elementary school, and since then, I've also helped coach ACB for two years. I can't wait to meet all of you on the court.

Hi, my name is Aiden. I am currently a senior at Santa Teresa High School. I had played for my school's team in elementary school before changing schools. I have helped coach ACB in the past, and I am looking forward to working with you all to get better and have a fun time.

Julie Miu

Hi everyone! My name is Julie Miu, and I am a sophomore at Santa Teresa High School. I played basketball in NJB for a few years in elementary school and was on my middle school’s team both years. I am the media coordinator and a coach for younger kids. I can’t wait to catch you on the courts this summer!
